Born the youngest of seven to Allen and Florence (Stryker) Bergstresser, Jim grew up in a close-knit family, learning early the value of hard work and loyalty. He was predeceased by his first wife, Alice L. Rita Evelyn Mumby, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 92. Friends may call on Saturday, May 3rd, from 1-2pm at Reed Corners Federated Church. A memorial service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be at the Gorham Cemetery.
