Penn Yan- Edwin Lee “Ed” Pero, age 70, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Friends may call on Saturday, February 15, from 1-3 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham. Memorial contributions in Ed’s name can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Ed was born on August 3, 1954, a son of the late Edwin David and Betty Ann Thompson Pero. He was employed for many years as a machine operator at Mobil Chemical and most recently at Abtex in Dresden.
