Obituary
Rushville- Sivia Grace Fitt, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at Nettle Valley Cemetery in Potter.
Memorial Contributions in Sivia’s name can be made to the Potter Fire Department 1255 Phelps Rd., Middlesex, NY 14507 or to the charity of donor’s choice.
Sivia was born on September 2, 1937 a daughter of the late Everett and Irene Robinson Perry. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and playing video games. Sivia is a former member of the Potter Fire Department and the Potter Fire Department Auxiliary. She was also part of the Penn Yan Bowling Club.
Sivia is survived by her children, Barb (Lee Hobart) Dimon, Deborah (Roger) McMillan and Sandra (Lyn Perry) Hilts; seven grandchildren, Richard (Lauren) Dimon, Jr., Melonie (Tony) Tiffany, Kimberly (Frederick, Jr) Cratsley, Robert McMillan, Derrick (Caitlyn) McMillan, Stacy Hilts and Seth (Carly) Hilts; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Patricia) Perry, Donald (Linda) Perry, Larry Robinson and William (Pat) Whitbeck; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Sivia was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charles Fitt; son-in-law, Richard Dimon, Sr. and siblings, Robert Perry, Delores Keyser, Irene Brittingham and Laura Hilkert.
