Penn Yan- Roger Allen Boyd, age 70, died Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Services will be announced at a later date.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Roger was a 1970 graduate of Highland High School. He attended Dutchess Community College. Roger was retired from IBM.
On May 11, 1991, Roger and Susan were married in S. Carolina. They moved to Penn Yan 11 years ago from Chapel Hill, N. Carolina. Roger enjoyed golf and sports, and was a NY Yankees fan.
Roger is survived by his wife, Susan; two grandsons, John “Jack” Bates and Andrew Bates; brother, David Boyd; sister, Diane Collazo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Warren and Margaret Boyd; his daughter, Stephanie Barber Bates; and two brothers, Stewart Rapache and Gary Rapache.
