Norma Jane Bergman, age 93, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. Born on April 5, 1932, to Anna (Spang) Hadsell and Harry Hadsell, she spent the majority of her life in the Yates County area. A longtime resident of Middlesex, Norma became an integral part of the growth of the Friendship House, which served community members in need. Her dedication, compassion, and active involvement in supporting others led to her being honored as Middlesex Citizen of the Year in 2009. Norma is predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Bergman; her sons, Craig and Timothy Bergman; her grandson, Michael Bergman; her great-grandson, Nicholas Parsons; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Bergman.
