Obituary

Middlesex- Mary Blair Soucie, age 66, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Middlesex Valley Ambulance, 817 State Route 245, Middlesex, NY 14507.

Mary was born on April 27, 1957 a daughter of the late Robert and Emma Boop Blair. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Class of 1975. Mary worked as a CNA for F.F. Thompson Hospital in the nursing home for over 30 years. Mary enjoyed wrestling and beadwork but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband Roger C. Soucie; two step-daughters, Jessie (Shane) Trautman and Peggy Sue (Tom) Miller; grandchildren, Skyler Trautman, Logan Trautman, Cristine Curtis, Jasmyn Curtis, Justine Miller and Judy Miller; brothers and sisters, Pat Busby, Debbie (Earl) Williams, Robert (Pam) Blair, Michael (Karen Ressue) Blair, Augustus (Tonya) Blair, Mark Morganti, Kim Morganti and Jan Morganti; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, Preston Miller and her nephew, Eric Weitzel.

I'm so sad to hear Mary passed. I really loved seeing my cousins. She was a hoot. Always had a smile. She will be sadly missed.
