Obituary
Canandaigua- Marilyn Dawn Meyer, age 95, passed away at home on Friday, March 14, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Honoring Marilyn’s wishes there will be no services. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery with her husband Dick.
Marilyn was born March 13, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Marcia Lush Hayden. She was the Cafeteria Manager for Marcus Whitman School District for 25 years. Her greatest joy in life was her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Richard (Annie) Meyer, Jr., Dawn (Mike) Feldmeyer, Granville Meyer and Larry (Cindy) Meyer; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene (Ty) Hayden; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents; husband Richard “Dick” Meyer, Sr.; and her siblings, John (Shirley) Hayden, Jr., Norma (Jack) Gentner and Lawrence (Peggy) Hayden.
