Obituary
Penn Yan- Lisa J. Castner, age 57, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Honoring Lisa’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
Memorial contributions in Lisa’s name can be made to the Keuka Comfort Care Home, P.O. Box 107, Penn Yan, NY 14527, or to, the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Lisa was born on April 16, 1969 to the late Harlan and Janice (Scott) Castner. She was a graduate of the Penn Yan Academy. Lisa was employed by CCN International in Geneva as a Safety Coordinator. She enjoyed reading, working in her flower gardens, refinishing furniture and her cats, Floof and Bosch. Lisa was an avid NASCAR fan. She was a gamer and played Dungeons and Dragons.
Lisa is survived by her siblings, Michael (Karen) Castner, Betty Jo Cason, Stephen (Betty) Castner and Barbara Burk; nieces and nephews, Michael (Aubri Crawford) Castner, Ronnie Cason, Megan Wakeman, Kaitlyn Castner, Charles Burk and Melissa Burk; as well as great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents.
