Kathleen Pisula

Shortsville- Kathleen (Welc) Pisula (79) passed away June 26,2025. She was born January 15^th, 1946.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dominic’s Church in Shortsville N.Y on Monday July 21^st at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Theresa’s cemetery in Stanley N.Y.

Kathleen grew up in Stanley and graduated from Gorham Central School in 1964. Upon graduation she attended Suny Brockport. She took care of her mother Rita Welc from1968 to 1971. She met Her husband while working at McCurdy’s in Rochester. Tony would regularly drive Kathleen home on Greyhound bus to Flint N.Y every Friday night. Kathleen was an avid Pittsburg Pirates fan and NY Giants.

Kathleen was the daughter of the late Edmund and Rita Thompson Welc of Stanley N.Y. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tony Pisula (2024) of 51 years and her son Michael Pisula (2009).

She is Survived by her son Christopher (Leanne) Pisula of Palmyra N.Y. and daughter Danielle (Greg) Campbell of Weedsport N.Y. Grandchildren Michaela and Greyson Campbell, who were her pride and joy. Brother John (Sharon) and Kevin (Michele) Welc. Nieces and Nephew Liz (Allen) Lathrop, Kate (Robert) VanBramer, Daniel Welc, Caitlin (Zack) Farley.
