Obituary

Penn Yan-Karen Lynne Clark, age 75, of Penn Yan passed away on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Honoring Karen’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services at this time.

Karen was born in Rochester on August 10th, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Mary V. Walker. Karen graduated from Canandaigua High School. After retiring from Marcus Whitman School District as a bus driver, she took comfort in caring for and helping several friends and family members.

Karen married her soulmate, Daniel R. Clark on July 17th, 1971 in Rushville, NY. Together they created a beautiful family.

Her pride and joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved being a mom but enjoyed being a grandmother and then a “Gigi” to her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 53 years, Daniel R. Clark; her children, Brian (Katrina) Clark, Brett Clark, Brandi (Lee) Mosely and Barry (Jamie) Clark; her 10 grandchildren, Kaili (Jermaine), Kyle (Amanda), Kody (Kayla), Dylan (Jasmine), Andrew (Parris), Courtney, Alexandra, Allison (Edward), Jackson and Samuel; 12 great-grandchildren, Jermaine, Jaylen, Jamari, Kianna, Jasir, Eliza, Kolton, Kaleb, Kolby, Kylan, Lorenzo and Sylvie. She was excited and looking forward to the 2 great-grandchildren soon to be here. Also surviving are her brother, Robert Walker; sister-in-law, Judy Wilson; best friends, Char Willliams and Betty Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and the many friends from the bus garage.

Karen was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Ada Clark, father-in-law, Hugh Clark; sister-in-law, Linda Walker; brother-in-law, Kirk Wilson and granddaughter, Courtney Wagner.

Karen was a very loving and caring individual. She will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.
