Judith S. Conley

Stanley- Judith S. Conley, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham. Burial will follow in Shuman Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Judy’s name can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.

Judy was born on November 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Franklin and Berenice (Pierce) Sherwood. She graduated high school in Rochester. Judy loved horses and worked many years as a horse trainer on her farm, Wind Meadow. She was a member of the Sonnenberg Garden Club. Judy enjoyed baking and gardening. She won the grand prize one year at the Barbara Jean Chili Cookoff. Judy had a gift for taking care of the elderly. She put together many Easter Egg Hunts for the children in the community.

Judy is survived by her son, Andrew (Carrie) Conley; many grandchildren including, Nathan Conley and Carrie Scott; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Lucille Newell; as well as nieces and nephews.

Judy was predeceased by her parents; husband; Dave Conley; son, John Adams; and a sister, Mary Elaine Aldoretta.
