Such a sweet, kind, respect person. I was a classmate of hers. In later years we would run into each other at reunions or in Canandaigua. Too young for her to pass. Condolences to her family.

So sorry for the loss of Jeanette. I remember her with lots of funny wit and smarts back in the Marcus Whitman days. I have to say she helped me through some of those science classes back then.
God Bless Jeanette and thoughts & prayers to all the family.

I wish that I had more time to get to know Jeannette. We became neighbors just 3 years ago. We shared a deep love of animals, particularly cats. Jeannette and Steve were so generous with their help and knowledge. I will miss her very much going forward and learning from so many things that she could teach me, especially about flowers gardening. RIP Jeannette, my friend.

Finding the words to express at this time is still a struggle. I have known Jeanette for many years. We met when she was a lighting specialist at HEPs in Canandaigua. I was a designer and she was the answer to my dreams. I would describe my vision of a particular light, and she would walk over to one of her catalogues and turn to a page and say “is this what you had in mind” and she always nailed it. We completed project after project together and always, always had a million laughs along the way. Later, after we both retired, my family and I built a comfort care home in Corning, NY. Jeanette and Steve wanted to be a part of it. This involved rewiring chandeliers, sconces and lanterns that were over 100 years old. Jeanette figured out how to take decades of paint off of them, rewire them, polish them, find missing parts, and bring them back to their original beauty. She converted her sewing room into a “light restoration” factory, and worked hours and hours on dozens of lights. She was amazing, and could never say “no”. Today, we cannot tour the home without seeing her work everywhere. She loved our garden too and her beautiful iris will continue to bloom there year after year. We will miss you terribly Jeanette but know you are still cracking jokes, smiling and laughing where ever your soul is.
