Jaye Charbonneau 70- Canandaigua NY
It is with great sadness that the family of Jaye Dee Charbonneau announce her passing on April 5th 2025 while comforted by her family and longtime friend.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home, 2583 East Main St., Gorham, NY. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Gorham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Perkins-Ames Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Gorham, NY 14461, for the family and to help offset cost for a headstone.
Jaye was a devoted mother who cherished her greatest gift, her son Erik.
Up until the time of her illness you could find Jaye hanging with friends, sightseeing with nieces, babysitting for her loved ones, crocheting new blankets for the new arrival in the family.
Family meant a lot to Jaye if you couldn’t reach her by phone, you knew she was either at the farm relaxing and enjoying family or helping in the gardens or in a nearby apartment with friends.
Jaye is survived by her son Erik Charbonneau, her sisters Patricia (Ally) Dillman & Janet (late Charles) Walker, Nieces- Jenny Larick, Wanda (Doug) Ellsworth, Edith (Matt) Byington, Karen Dillman, Michelle (Chris) Bearer, Christine (Late Terry) Mullen, Samantha (Brandon) Adams, Paula (Tim) Parsons. Nephews- Jimmy Blakesley, Jeff Blakesley, Warren (Ginger) Dillman, Shane (Marianne) Walker. Great Nieces Sarah Crosby, Elizabeth Kagel, Amber Gould, Nichole Rossato, Lauren Kuhn, Blair Mullen, Tori Parsons, LaRen Blakesley Great Nephews- John (Heidi )Larick, Bruce Larick, Mason Ellsworth, Sam Byington, Ben Byington, Tyler Kuhn, Ryan Kuhn, Cameron (Alex) Walker, Aaron Walker, Andrew Walker, Kyle Mullen, Jordan Blakesley, Howard Gould along with several Great- Great Nieces and Nephews Including Ethan, Ayden, Dannie Grace, Owen, Ally, Marcellus, Addison, Am’ilya , Josephine , Dannyella and Mckinley. Also a community of friends at 80 Parrish Street.
Jaye was predeceased by the love of her life George Charbonneau, parents John & Viola Blakesley, Brother James Blakesley, Nephew Matthew Charbonneau., Niece – Mary Alice , Great -Great Nephew Brycen Walker
Good-Bye is not forever; farewell is not the end. It simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed and held so dear. With great grief, there lies within so much love.
The family would like to thank, Frederick Ferris Thompson Hospital, especially Katie, Natalie and Leah from 3 West for the care they gave to Jaye also Living Center North staff Hope, Megan, Nick, Chantella, Delonda, Shauntay, Jennifer, Cody, Jillian to name a few who provided comfort, guidance, patience and support in her final days.
