What a privilege to have known Evie. As cousins we were different in age and I ended up south and she ended up north. We got to see each other in the Troy Canton area over the years at Spencer reunions. She and John were special. Evie was a rock we all could count on. It was sad to hear of her passing. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She left her mark (a good one).

To my brother's second family, Larry, Fred and Russ-May you find the comfort of beautiful memories and Evie's legacy as you bid farewell for now. She was a farmer's wife, a right-hand man, always willing to help with the family's business. Strong and true to the values of the country folks. Though you will miss her, know that each of you has a piece of her residing in your heart. May God care for her now, may she experience paradise with her Savior. Joanne

Evie and John were the BEST neighbors one could ever hope to have. From the first day we met, they were both there for my family. Evie’s smile and laughter were always a bright spot in the day. My deepest sympathy to her great family.
