Elizabeth Ann Shaner

Geneva- Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Shaner, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Friends may call on Saturday, May 10 from 1-2 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions in Betty’s name can be made to the Gorham Historical Society, P.O. Box 90, Gorham, NY 14461, or to, Geneva United Methodist Church, 340 South Main St., Geneva, NY 14456.

Betty was born on October 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Albert and Edna Stokoe Shaner. She was a member of the Gorham Historical Society and attended the First Methodist Church of Geneva. Betty worked for Tops Markets decorating cakes, Stearns Nursery and Mirical Grow.

Betty is survived by her siblings, Donald Shaner and Janet Shaner as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Charles Shaner, Kenneth Shaner and Marian (Richard) Stape.
