Obituary
Gorham/Canandaigua- Edwin Donald Spears, age 61, passed away peacefully, with loved ones at his side, on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.
Ed was born March 24, 1962 in Canandaigua, NY. He was the son of the late Donald Edward Spears and Sylvia Irene Kennedy Spears.
Ed was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. He had worked at Crossman Corporation in Bloomfield for 32 years. Ed enjoyed camping, car rides, shopping and cooking for others. He loved music and was a NY Yankees fan.
Ed is survived by his loving companion, Pam Mason; two daughters, Abigail “Abbey” Schojan and Emma Spears; Pam’s daughter, Janelle Mason; brother-in-law, Bruce McCall; brother, George (Sue) Killian; sister, Kim (Todd) Killian; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thanks to friend, Deb Fowler, who was there for Ed and his family through his illness.
