Branchport- Donna Marie Bergman, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Honoring Donna’s wishes there will be no services.

Donna was born on July 17, 1959, a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Thompson Jacobs. She was a graduate of Livonia Central School and employed by the Canandaigua VA for 40 years. Donna was an avid hunter and loved to fish and enjoyed spending time in the woods with her family. She was an excellent artist that loved to draw and paint. Donna loved her family and adored spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ward Bergman; children, Samantha Bergman and Ryan (Lisa Nelson) Bergman; grandchildren, Michael Dunton, Corynn Dunton, Madilynn Bergman and Charlotte Bergman; step-mother, Shirley Jacobs; siblings, Rick (Ronda) Jacobs, Bill Jacobs, John (Annette) Jacobs and Ron (Trish) Jacobs; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donna was predeceased by her son, Michael Bergman; her father, Robert Jacobs and mother, Betty Jacobs.

Prayers, love, light and peace sent to all who knew and loved Donna! I worked along side her when I started at the VA and loved her quick wit and sweet heart! She was sooo excited to retire last year and spend more time with her family.
Her loss will for ever leave a hole in our hearts. Know she will always be remembered.
