Met Dave at Careys lumber 30 years ago. Always looked forward to his phone calls or better yet when he would come thru the door and we started badgering with each other. Everyone at Carey's will miss a good customer and friend.

End of an era. Over the years, Dave kept my houses and farm buildings in good repair. But, most of all, he was a great friend who looked out for me. We would talk for hours covering many topics of common interest.

To the Fox family,
I was sad to hear of the loss of Dave. He was a hard working farmer and carpenter. He did several jobs for my mother as well as several others in Stanley. Always an honest man and very professional.

To the Fox family, We were sad to hear about Dave's passing. I believe our Dads both believed and passed down a characteristic that is at the core of everything you do on a daily basis, and that quality is integrity = "the quality of being honest and possessing strong moral principles and values." Dave's legacy is that he clearly passed these qualities onto his family. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to you all at this difficult time.

Patricia Eddinger from Geneva, New York on Feb. 16, 2024

We were so sorry to hear about David. “Sorry” seems such an inadequate word at a time like this, but that is how we feel for you all. Our wishes for comfort and peace are with you.
