She was born July 29, 1932, in Salamanca NY. She moved to Hornell in her teens where she met Robert Dobell and they would later marry on February 10, 1949.

Retirement allowed her to continue her busy life at home with her now enormous family who kept her on her toes and constantly on the move. She enjoyed crocheting, crosstitching, word puzzles and loved watching the 11 o’clock news that all the grandkids begged to stay up and watch, just to be with her. She also loved to travel around the states and even went to Ireland and Germany.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A Dobell Sr, parents Edwin Sr and Doris (Light) Mighells, siblings Joyce (Donald) Lorow, Edwin Sr (Marylou) Mighells, and James Mighells. Daughter Debra Mallery, grandchildren Holly Sutton, Daniel Sutton Sr and Jennifer Donovan.
