Obituary
Canandaigua- Sandra Lorreen Fleenor Coyle, age 86, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Keuka Comfort Care Home.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held in the spring of 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Keuka Comfort Care Home, P.O. Box 107, Penn Yan, NY 14527, or to, Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
Sandy was born on May 27, 1938, a daughter of the late Lawrence Fleenor and Martha Pipp Fleenor Johnson. She was a strong woman who didn’t always have the easiest life, but no matter what she was always there for her kids and was the absolute best mom. Sandy had a great sense of humor and always joked that her TVs couldn’t play sports. She loved going to garage sales and thrift stores and treasured everything she found there. She was a collector of dream catchers. Sandy was a big Bill Elliott fan and had lots of his memorabilia.
Sandy is survived by 4 children, Bill (Dawn) Lockwood, David Lockwood, Cindy (John) Brewster and Ricky (Jeanette Kriticos) Coyle; 7 grandchildren, Bill (Elisa) Lockwood, Jr., Sandy (Irving) Rubio, Albert Lockwood, John Brewster, Jr., Abbey Coyle, Josh Brewster and Jessica (Steve) Owens; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Les Fleenor.
Sandy was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Christina Reynolds.
