Jody grew up in Canandaigua. She was a loving, dutiful wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Jody was a homemaker who gave every bit of herself to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a giver, true salt of the earth, who gave to others even though she had very little herself. She loved to garden and get her hands in the earth. She loved all things vintage and unique. She had the most wonderful laugh and enjoyed being silly with those she held dear to her. She taught her children and grandchildren how to love hard and appreciate every day as it came.
Jody is survived by her three children, Regina Lee (Todd) Lynd, Todd Devlin and Erick John Devlin; seven grandchildren Arielle Rose (Blake) Bishop, Dennis Patrick Daniel (Hailey) Lynd, Holden (Abby) Costlow, Maddison Jozette Devlin, Mackenzie Alexis (Josh) Vick, Alexander O’shay Devlin, Sophia Katherine Turner, and one Great Grand son, Elijah Patrick Lynd.
Jody is also survived by 7 siblings; Freeman (Jennifer) Housel, John (Kathy) Housel, Ellen (Jim) Johnson, Linda (Bert) Dailey, Dawn (Brian) Brown, Karl Housel and Orrin Housel; brothers and sisters in-law, Michael (Noreen) Devlin, Tim (Joanne) Devlin, John (Judy) Devlin, Jackie Crane, Pam (John) Adams, Howard “Butch” Sarquist; and many nieces and nephews
Jody is also survived by many dear friends and her treasured fur babies, mama kitty and miss cora.
Jody was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Devlin; her parents John and Shirley Housel; sister Paula Wright; and her sister in laws, Ruth Sarquist and Mae Devlin.

Sending you all of my love Erick, I personally know what you are dealing with as I just lost my father this week. My heart hurts for you. Your mother was such a kind soul that loved her family beyond measure. I will always appreciate her kindness and willing to help me when I was in need. 🖤
I pray you find peace and strength in the days ahead.

My dear friend, I was sorry to hear of your passing. I know you had been struggling for some time. And I know you are in the arms of Jesus reunited with the love of your life Pat. I will always remember our time together at VdC, you were so kind loving and caring when I made my weekend thank you for that. And thank you for all the prayers when I was sick.
Rest in peace sweet Jodi. ♥️
