Obituary
Canandaigua- Destiny Garlock, 18, born and raised in Canandaigua, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 14, 2023.
Friends may call Sunday (Dec. 17th) from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception will be held at the Gorham Fire Hall, 4676 Kearney Rd, Stanley, NY 14561, immediately following the funeral. For additional information please call Tonya, 585-507-6031.

Destiny graduated early from Canandaigua Academy. She was currently employed by Wegmans in Canandaigua. Destiny was a goal-oriented, kind-hearted young woman, who loved all her family and friends.
Destiny is survived by her father and mother, Bill and Alisha Garlock; 3 sisters, Kaitlyn Fuller, Brooke Garlock and Mia Garlock; brother, T.J. Garlock; and grandfather, Roger Wallace.
Destiny was predeceased by grandparents, Terry and Carla Garlock, and Patricia Leno.

She truly was the happiest person around. Always smiling, laughing, and creating joy. When I worked with her, she always would ask if I needed help, no matter what. I’ll never forget when I had no way home from work, and she asked her mother if they could take me home, and her mother said yes. You, and your family, have made an everlasting impact on me. She was so smart. Always talked about returning to Texas and I would help her through St. Mary’s Law School.
