Obituary

Waterloo- Stefanie A. Angelo, age 34, passed away at Geneva General Hospital, after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease,  on  Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023.

Friends may call Monday (Dec. 18th) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Perkins-Ames Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday (Dec. 19th) at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. A Reception will follow the Funeral at the Waterloo Fire Department.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo.

Stefanie attended Waterloo High School and later received her GED.

She was a former Housekeeper at the Waterloo Holiday Inn. Stefanie attended Culinary Classes at FLCC and was an excellent cook. She would help anybody and was “always there” for her friends and family.

Stefanie was beautiful inside and out. Stefanie enjoyed all things Pooh Bear. Her daughter, “Bella” was the love of her life.

Stefanie is survived by her husband, Randy Angelo; daughter Isabella Angelo; mother, Karen Leach; and two sisters, Jamie DeRosia and Viktoria (Jose Alicea) Leach.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lindsey Angelo; brother-in-law, Jeremy Austin; maternal grandmother, Kay Hackett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; her life-long best friend, Sabrina Barilla; and by many loving and caring friends.

Stefanie was predeceased by her father, Emory Leach; her grandfather, Ted Hackett; her mother-in-law, Cindy Angelo; and her brother-in-law, Chris DeRosia.
