So very sorry for your loss. I got to know Gary over 45 years ago when I started calling on the Fire Department to sell them fire equipment. I would often stop at Dudley Poultry during the day and chat with him. In all my dealings and conversations with him I grew to know a very friendly, honest, level headed and down to earth person. I always looked forward to any conversation that we had on many topics including fire department items. Take care and cherish the memories.

I am very sorry to read of Gary’s passing. I will always remember how he helped get the beer for the County Emergency Services picnic at Millerland for me. I was too young to buy it. Those were great times. Thank you for sharing such a great man with all of us. My sincerest condolences go out to all of you.

Gary. My dear friend of more than 50 years. A wonderful host who made the best chicken wings anywhere! Husband, father, community servant--a life so well-lived. Carl and I loved vacationing with the Oppelts. So many memories of the Adirondacks, Cape Cod, Montreal, Vegas.... You will be missed, dear friend. Rest in Peace.
