Obituary
Penn Yan- Stephen Micah Erb, age 24, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.
Friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1-2 p.m. at the Penn Yan Bible Church, 2015 Kimball Rd., Penn Yan, NY 14527. A Memorial Service will follow calling hours at 2 p.m.

Stephen was born on December 5, 1998 a son of Cory and Lena (Wilkins) Erb. He was a member of the Bellona Fire Department and the Shed Haulers Brotherhood. Stephen was a country boy who was larger than life; he could light up the room with his smile and personality. He was a hard worker who would do anything to help someone in need.
Stephen is survived by his life-partner, Justine Maddox; infant-daughter, Evelyn Grace Erb; his parents, Cory and Lena Erb; five siblings, Ashley (Tim) Bieber, Joshua (Leanna) Erb, Christian Erb, Abigail Erb and Rena Erb; nieces and nephew, Emma, Adalyn, Jed, Eleanor and Aliyah; and maternal grandparents, Bruce and Anna Wilkins as well as many aunts and uncles.
Stephen was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Lillian Erb.

Dear Erb family and friends, I like I’m sure everyone was shocked and saddened by this. I am in the shed business and have known Stephen for several years. He was always a pleasure to spend some time with. I welcomed seeing him at my shed lot on many occasions. May his family in particular find peace and comfort from God. I will truly miss him .
